Our business, housed in a hand-painted, graphically designed 40-ft shipping container located in the main parking lot of Vineland Estates Winery, is committed to providing an unforgettable cycling and wine tasting experience.
Our Story:
Founded in 2024, Ebike The Bench Wine Tours was born out of a passion for showcasing the beauty and flavour of the majestic Niagara Benchlands through the thrill of e-cycling. Our first season was an immense success, not measured by financials, but by the overwhelming positive feedback from our customers. Their joy, smiles and resounding 'shout outs' upon returning from their tours were the true measure of success for us.
What We Offer:
1. Guided Wine Tours:
Our signature Guided Wine Tours span 5 hours and offer an immersive exploration of the Niagara Benchlands. During the tour, you will visit 4 local wineries, each offering unique and exquisite world renowned wines. A gourmet lunch is served at the second winery spot, ensuring you are fueled for the rest of your adventure. These tours provide your with expert guidance, local insights, and of course, plenty of wine to taste and enjoy.
2. Self-Guided Tours:
For those who prefer to set their own pace, our Self-Guided Tours are available as half day or full day options. Whether you are an avid cyclist or simply wish to explore the Bench at your own pace, we are happy to assist with custom route planning to ensure you get the most our of your day.
3. Adventure Series:
For those looking to combine local attractions with the vineyard experience, our Adventure Series is the perfect choice.
- Paddle and Pour: this tour takes you on a cycle to Jordan Harbour, where you will go out on the water in your choice of a sup, kayak or canoe. Paddle across the harbour to the only winery on the water in the Niagara Region, where you will enjoy a relaxing lunch with a glass of wine before you paddle and cycle back.
- Stained Glass Workshop: Cycle to Urban Tractor Farm Winery where you will enjoy a 2 hour stained glasss keepsake workshop. Sip on a glass of wine, savour a charcuterie plate, and indulge in creative relaxation before cycling back.
